Process Writing

Objective:
The students will be able to have better understanding about the process writing

The process writing focuses on the PROCESS, rather than PRODUCT.

There are 5 basic stages of the process writing:
1) Pre-writing; 2) Drafting; 3) Revising; 4) Editing; and 5) Publishing

Stage 1: Pre-writing
Good planning makes a great paper. This step helps you to organize your ideas before writing.
1. Think about the topic that you have to write
2. Create the questions about your topic
3. Answer all the questions about your topic
4. Now, you can use the answers to write a paragraph

Stage 2: Drafting
Now you are ready to use your outline to write a first draft, so just get started.

Stage 3: Revising
- Reread the first draft. Ask yourself if this is your best work. Does it make sense?
Your friends and teacher can read and give some feedback in this stage.

Stage 4: Editing
- Check the feedback and comments from your friends and teacher.
- Check grammar, structure, word choice, capitalization, spelling, in-text citation and reference list again.

Stage 5: Publishing
- Make sure that your second draft is as perfect as possible.
- Now, you are ready to post your second draft !
